I am a Researcher in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with expertise in Tackling Online Misinformation using Deep Learning and, more broadly, automated methods against Online Harms. Enthusiastic about cutting-edge research with positive societal impact.
I am currently at AI Research team at JPMorgan Chase. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Queen Mary University of London and the Alan Turing Institute working on Tackling Misinformation using Natural Language Processing. My research there was funded by UKRI trough the PANACEA project and focused on COVID-19 - related misinformation.
I have completed a PhD at the Computer Science department of the University of Warwick supervised by Prof. Maria Liakata and Prof. Rob Procter.
My background is Applied Mathematics (BSc, MSc, Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod) and Complexity Science (MSc, University of Warwick, Chalmers University).
